Stuff for baby:
Bring home outfit
Car seat

Stuff for you:
Your own undies
A robe and slippers...in case you have to walk around to get things moving
Clothes to wear home.
Hair brush
Tooth brush
Toothpaste

Your own blankets and pillows...hospitals are crappy
Just bring comfy clothes you can change into after you have the baby. They give you shampoo and stuff but if you prefer your own bring them. Bring everything you would if you were going for a weekend trip but comfy clothes. I brough pjs.

Other:
Baby book
Camera
Camcorder
Money
ID
Health cards

Stuff for your hubby:
Snacks
Clothes

I mean when i went to the hospital I brought everything. I didn't want to have to bug the nurses every five seconds.

Oh and a big thing...bring your own pads...the ones they give you are those big thick maxis and they don't really absorb that well. I prefered to bring my own, thin ones that way i could feel comfy sleeping.

I mean the blankets were becaue they give you thin ones. the pillows aren't comfy. I mean you just had a baby you want to be comfy.

Pack a bag before hand and have it ready to go..... Take a pair of pajamas or Nightie with a Robe, Take your essentials,,toothbrush, toothpaste, hairbrush, makeup and lotion. I know it seems silly but if you get up the next day after having the baby then you will feel much better. Go take a hot shower and primp so that you will look good and feel good. Also take a outfit for the baby and blanket to take it home in. Good Luck

Your own nightgown for after the birth, unless you dont mind wearing the hospital gowns. Big maxi pads and some underwear you might not mind throwing away. . The little net underwear and maxi pads they have at the hospital are uncomfortable. Bring something for the baby to go home in and something for you to go home in. Just a maternity outfit to go home in is fine, and just all the rest of the regular things you use everyday.

OMG bring your comfy socks- some with some tread on the bottom. Hospital rooms get SO cold! I also had to bring an electric razor to shave my legs. I couldn't stand having hairy legs. A scrunchie is good too!

Pack a small bag ahead of time. Slippers, gown and robe, underwear, any cosmetics you might want. And don't forget to pack for baby: blankets, cap, warm one piece pajamas and diapers.

Lots of heavy-flow maxi pads, underwear, socks, and an outfit for you and for the baby to go home in.

for both my pregnancies i took my husbands big underwear.. a must to cater for those uncomfy pads.. a button up nightie (for labour) and normal pjs after bub is out...even take your bikini for the shower..the nurse will put a sheet over your legs so use your bikini top just to be comfy.. trust me once your in labour you dont care what your showing..

you will still need your maternity clothes to go home in or at least something stretchy cuz unfortunatly just because baby is out doesnt mean we immediatly shrink back to normal size lol
