Is it Ps2, or PS3? also, how much do PS2 systems cost now? I really want that game, but thats the only game I would play. (I'm not a big video game fan)
Is there any way I could play it on something else without having to buy the game system?

It can be played on the PS2, I'm not sure about the PS3. Anyway I just bought a PS2 a week ago and it was around $180 give or take.

Playstation 2's cost around $125. Guitar hero can be played on PS2 but not on PS3. The will be a new guitar hero comming out for Xbox 360.

The Playstation 3 does not have the proper controller ports to use Playstation 2 accessories. So while you may still be able to play it using the Playstation 3 controller on the PS3, it just won't be nearly as fun. This problem will be remedied shortly as Red Octane is working on bringing Guitar Hero to all next-gen game consoles (including Wii and Xbox 360).

they have them on xbox 360 though those are pretty expencive compared to ps2's you might be able to get an enimulation running but you'd need the guitar and some tecnological skills (of which i don't have...)

My sisters play and love that game ALL the time, and we only have PS2
so PS2
I believe you can play it on PS3... not sure

youll most likely need to play it on ps2 and while the new ones may be around $180 you could look for a used or refurbished one on ebay for much cheaper im sure
