Have had the same problem. (mine happened randomly after playing a game for a week...) Have you ever tried burning a game? There is a warning on the back of the game (in yellow background) Look for that. You may want to try uninstalling your burning software and reinstalling it. I think there is a program called Starware or something...if you have that uninstall it. That should help solve your problems.

You could try to get a CD/DVD lens cleaner. It cleans the lens so that the CD Drive can read and write better.

It takes position after some years, its existence is over, you would possibly want to provide it for restore, thats the basically answer. next time dont immediately run dvds and cds on the dvdchronic and watch movie, replica the movie to hardchronic and watch it-a lot less artwork for dvd drives, you retain on with this then the dvdchronic will very last atleast 6yrs

what's wrong with that? my answer for you is more like a dutch uncle -- if want to keep your stiffy don't mess with it. catch that prole? leave it alone and let it do whatever it does. that is what is wrong with all these pc's, eager beavers diddling around with them.
