Chabanel Street is the way to do it...these are REAL factories...not just big chains that have Factory Stores. It is just north of the Métropolitain between St-Laurent and du Parc: Montreal still has a large textile industry, most of which is located in this district. Here you'll find factory outlets that sell to the public directly, but only on Saturday mornings.

Other than that I know there is a Factory outlet Mall in St-Sauveur...but that is up North. They may be some in Laval too...
But in Montreal we don't have those big complex they have in the States...Some stores have factory stores but are not in a Mall...if you have a Brand in mind I would call any of their Store and ask if they have a outlet/factory store...they will know...for example I know many MEXX stores, but there is also the Outlet store MEXX Entrepôt 550, rue Sauvé Ouest, they have great deals...but it's not in a big Mall...
Try also The Marché Central it is probably the closest you'll get to what you are looking for...but not all stores are outlet stores...but some of them are...check out their web site to see the store list: http://www.marchecentral.com/english.html
Good Luck!
