Who's going to be the Sox closer for 2007 and maybe years beyond?

Timlin has done it in the past and proven he is capable, I would go with him. I also heard that they may try to get Derrick Turnbow from the Brewers, but I actually think they would be better off with Timlin as a stop gap until they get someone mid-season like they did with Aguilera years ago. Another experienced name that has been tossed around is Eddie Guardado.

I am guessing closer by committee alternating Timlin, Hanson, Tavares, Snyder, J.C. Romero for lefties, and now Brendan Donnelly. At least until one of them shows that he can be the closer. I don't think that Papelbon will be a closer because it put too much stress on his shoulder.

They will try and get Cordero from Washington or I have heard they may try Hanson in the roll during spring training.

There too broke to get anyone good,they spent all there money on that Jap,and JD drew!!! Yankees will kill them in pitching this year!!

That is yet to be determined. However, you can be sure they will have one in place when the season begins in April. My guess is that Papplebon will return to that position.

there going to get some jap guy that supposed to be better than any of the horrible pitchers the yankees have and sexson and some other good players

they'll try to get bill buckner back.... hes done wonders for them in the past. and closer hmmmm, doesn't that mean boston will need to be in the lead?.... save ur money

thinking they should use the one they had last year and not as a starter, they have enough starters.
