Okay well i love the C.D welcome to the black parade its my absolute favorite but i was just wondering about the song Blood? Im not sure if I like it.. and its supposedly hidden and it takes 1:30 until it starts playing.. anyone know why or what the story is behind this song at all? or anyone that likes it tell me!

"Blood" is the final song on American rock band, My Chemical Romance's album, The Black Parade. It is a hidden track, so the song is silent for the first 1 minute and 30 seconds, then starts out with piano chords beneath vocals by the lead singer Gerard Way. This song has more of a ragtime tune, somewhat like the verses in the song "Mama". It is also the shortest song on the album, lasting only 1:23, not counting the first 1:30 of silence.
FYI, I started to fall in love with MCR ever since I 1st heard the Helena song. I think the story behind this song (Blood) is entirely about war, which relates greatly to the "Great War" that is referred to on MyChemicalRomance.com. Yeah, the song sounds cute & funny but still I like it a lot!

It is a hidden track, and when I bought the cd it took me about ten times of listening to it and not being able to figure out the lyrics that I looked in the booklet and, lo and behold, there was no number 14 ! I like the song personally, as I have been a MCR fan since their first album. I have no idea if it has a story behind it at all, but I'm sure you could find out on MCR's site! =)

I like it a lot. It gets stuck in my head and I end up making up new words to put in the place of "blood." But I am insane partly.
The first place I heard a hidden song was on an Apoptygma Berzerk cd. It is odd and hard to deal with sometimes when I just want the song to come on and it seems to be taking forever...

I ♥ the song "Blood"! I noticed that too... I thought only certain countries have that track on the CD.... (I actually thought I was special..LOL!) I think that since it's a bonus track, they "hid" it on purpose.... As for it taking 1:30 seconds to play it is maybe a trick or something. I mean, most people would just turn the CD player off and say "Okay that was a good CD, I wonder why they made a 14'th track of silence for no reason" or whatever. idk... I like Blood, but I wonder why it takes a minuite and thirty seconds to play it...... maybe the silence is part of the song. hmmm......?

I don't know the story behind the song, I think only the band might know that. But a lot of bands put a hidden track in thier albums. So far, Good Charlotte has put one in each album. I guess its just their way of having a little surprise in their music.

First of all the cd is called "The Black Parade" hun. "Welcome to the Black Parade" is a song. And yeah, it's just a hidden track. They recorded it by themselves seperatley and then added it on after the cd was finished. Tons of bands do it all the time. It's pretty much just them goofing around, and it has no underlying meaning. I love the song though.

It's basically like a bonus track, sort of hidden. 3 Doors Down did that once with one of their CDs.

I love mcr, and blood is an awesome song. im not sure what it means though. You could like probly find it in one of their interviews becuase they have a lot i havent seen them all though.. look for them on stevens untilited rock show, there with them alot

i'm spanish but it doesnt matter i think the black parade is the best one album of the band and i love the song helena and to gerard too

it doesnt take 1:30 for it to start playing, you either got a foreign download or you need to check that. personally, i think it fits in fine with the rest of the cd.
