Haven't you watched some of these so called "Reality" TV shows? They work the crowd for a reward of a million dollars.Surely you can do it for your career.
Kissing up is wrong if it appears that that is what you're up to.
Have integrity and show your strength. You're a leader, not follower. You do it with strength and a confidence that can only be present in people who know what they are doing. You seek advice from only those who know their stuff and that makes you a team player. Your not afraid to take a risk, knowing that if you win, the reward is great.
You only make big decisions after getting all the facts, and you never make an emotional decision. You study the topic before speaking your mind and because you do, you have great ideas to share. You love brainstorming with others, their ideas are important to you.

I would say don't do it. Those butt kissers are not liked by even the people they spend their time and efforts on. Since I moved up on my hard work, I expect my employess do the same. No butt kissing on my watch.

Dont do it. Your coworkers will have no respect for you and your bosses will see through it instantly. You will look like a fool with no self respect. Most people I know that climb the ladder the fastest are confident and full of self respect.

Always volunteer... whenever your boss is asking you and your co-workers to do something, be the first to volunteer... do your job well.... offer to work overtime if needed... be on time... don't miss work very often... compliment your boss.
