Find another adult that you can confide in. There are many adults at the schools that can help and guide you both in the right direction (counselor, social worker, etc...).

Oh my gosh! How horrible! I can't imagine ever turning away my daughter in such a time of need! Help by giving her information on adoption programs (at 14 she's not even old enough for a job to buy formula). Also, go with her to your local State welfare office and see what they can do to help her. They'll be able to tell her where she can go for help in living assistance and having food in her tummy.

Try to find a crisis pregnancy center in your area. They are not a place like planned parenthood that talks people into abortions, but they try to help these young moms by mediating between them and their parents, providing support, applying for medicaid, driving to doctor visits, offering adoption information, providing babyb clothes and items.

I think right now all you can do is be there for her as a friend and someone to talk to. Encourage her to seek professional guidance and let her know that you are there for her. She has a long and rough road ahead of her and she will need a constant friend...it sounds like she has a good one.
