A 7th grader who wants to be popular? lol. All you have to do is be like me and just be a strong person. I say what i want whether its mean or sweet, people tend to look up to me for that. I never need to dress the part, but when i do i usually wear jeans and a shirt with puffed sleves. Then you get a long necklace and throw it on with some matching earings. And please dont forget the shoes, keep them over $20 at the least.

I can tell you right now that it's not always the clothes that make you popular (well in my case anyways). When I was in the 7th grade, I was the most popular girl in my grade. Not because of the clothes I wore (cause I wore walmart stuff at the time...I was poor) But it was because of my outspoken, I don't give a damn, personality. Most of the other people in the popular crowd were only popular because of their clothes. I would take being popular for who I am, over being popular for what I have.

First thing to remember is: you're not going to make yourself "popular" by dressing a certain way. Popularity comes from being a likable person with a good personality (listening to and being considerate of others, being a caring person). You might get "in" with a certain group by dressing a particular way, but that doesn't mean you're popular. All it means is you know how to be a sheep and follow a trend.
Popularity isn't necessarily all it's cracked up to be! Just be yourself, and then good things will follow from there!!

U can't become popular by what u where, trust me i would know. Lots of other 8th graders at my school may wear brand name clothes but some of them aren't popular. Instead be really friendly to everybody and don't be afraid to act urself.

Accutally, to be popular, its your attitude that makes you popular. Be confident and strong. Popularity is also based on how many friends you have.
For style, go girly. Wear Dorinha jeans, I got a pair and everyone was like, OMG! are those dorinhas?? Also only wear name brands like:
Baby Phat
Roca Wear
Abercrombie
Hollister
American Eagle
Roxy
Billabong
etc.
I only wear name brand clothes and Im not popular so its not guaranteed to work. I guess I just never tried to be popular...lol.

The best way to become "popular" is to not give a damn if you are or not. Be yourself and people will love you for it.

Just to be yourself. Every teen-age is unique. You should to wear 'your-style' clothes. If you see something wrong in your mirror - undress and choose another.

try a curled look it can look good at my school a lot of popular girls have a curled look with blonde or brown hair!!!!!!!!!!
