If you're talking about electronics: If it is opened they will only exchange it for you for the EXACT same thing....and only if it was defective.
Anything else, it should be fine to return without many problems.

yes...walmart will take anything back. i had a straightner i bought that stopped working like 2 weeks after i bought it, i didnt have a recept or a package and they still took it back.
