If you log into your routers configuration, usually bu opening a browser and type in 192.168.0.1, and find the wireless security options. You can enable WEP or WAP security on the router and you will also need to enter a key for security.
Then you will have to enable the same security option and input the key into each computer that wants to connect to the router.
That should do it.....

Do whatever steps the manual recommends.
They've made about 50-60 different models of routers.

if you go to linksys.com you can download a program that will set up a wireless password. Go there, click on support (upper strip) chose technical support from the drop down list - then click easy link home networking tools - then choose easy link connect (NOT THE FIRMWARE)
or just copy and paste this
http://www.linksysfix.com/check/HomePage/index.htm?callerID=WS
then choose easy link connect (NOT THE FIRMWARE)
