I feel uncomfortable about giving a gift, what to do?
I have bought similar gifts for all my friends (girls) I bought Bath And Body works flavored soap. SO I gave all the gifts to all the girls but one, so this one calls me today just to talk and asks me what I gave everyone for Holidays, so I told her and she was like, eww soap? I woun't be happy if someone gave me soap...

So tomorrow she's gonna bring her gift for me and I will have to bring her...well just what I have...SOAP...

Is that ok? I don't have any time to get anything else...Is that approporiate?

Yes, go ahead and give her the soap that you gave the rest of your friends. It was rather stupid of her to put down your gift in the first place. It's frustrating when folks forget the purpose of gift giving and complain about the gifts they receive...perhaps those people don't deserve a gift at all!

Yes. Give it to her. It was rude of her to say that to you. A gift is just that, a gift. She should be gracious enough to say "thank you," and not complain about it.
