Get her a card, let her know you care. Other than that...I cant understand her behavior. I'm 20, and even with a husband, 2 children, and a paycheck that hasnt covered everything, I've made efforts to let others in my family know I care-even if I just made a card, etc. Therefore, I feel like she shouldnt get anything tangible and material from you, just a happy bday from her sister. Who knows...maybe she'll realize the world doesnt revolve around her one day.

It sounds to me that she will have a liftime full of things she wants on her list. It is rude of her to ask for a gift. If it makes you feel good to give her a gift then by all means, do what you want but she is not "OWED" one. These are all material things and maybe the best thing you can gift her is your love.
Send her a card and wish her a happy birthday. Maybe a coffee at Starbucks together. Just something simple that says you were thinking about her. It sounds like she is a bit vein and family behavior has re-inforced this is ok over the years. Better that she find out now while it is easier to fix what should be important in family relations. I don't know what her finiancial situation is but not even a card at Christmas to anyone in the family? It sounds as if you already know it is not healthy behavior and you know what to do about it. Just be kind and by doing so is an example of how to behave .... anger solves nothing and usually makes things much worse.

You should get your sister a card letting her know you love her. Try talking to her about how she has been rude, maybe she having problem and feelings she can't talk to anyone in her family.
I just lost my sister Dec 28th, even though she kept saying she was going to die by the 28th I still gave her a christmas gift.

No.
If she has the money to give you a present and she just doesn't want to, than you should do the same to her.
Just say happy birthday.
Or get her something small, like a bracelet. But, if she isn't grateful or it, don't plan on giving her anything again.

I would just buy her a card and give it to her or mail it to her. If she is rude like that, then you should not feel guilty just because it is your sister. If it will make you feel better, get her a little something (spend like twenty dollars).

It is up too you if you want too give your sister a present or not.. We cannot help you but may give you options.
If you were me just because it is her birthday doesnt mean you have too give her a present if she doesnt diserve it then dont give her one. Only if you think she diserves it.
