How focused are you when you silent read from a scale of 1 to 5, five being the most focused.?

What would help you to focus more on your reading?

Ehh depends on the day and my mood/concentration. Sometimes I'd rather have background noise that kind of drones out of consciousness (such as when sitting in a mall food court but not in great enough a proximity as to hear any specific conversation) than to have a completely silent library with the exception of this one person whispering behind me. That is annoying!
Still, generally libraries are the best (despite my previous comparison) and while at a library, you have the RIGHT to silence. Thus if someone is talking rudely on their cell phone, you could always just (anonymously) tell a librarian or someone who works there to ask them to kindly be quiet or leave. Fun stuff.

When I am alone, like in the library's quiet room, my reading 'focusnessed' is a 5. When I am at school and we are reading something in class, I find it easier to listen to music while I read, making my 'focusnessed' a 4, instead of a 2 or 3 in that situation.

I sometimes find it hard to concentrate when reading, depending on how quiet it is. It also depends, for me how clear my head is when I begin to read. At the moment when I study for anything I write everything down, even that means re-writing whole chapters from text-books just to get it implanted into my head. However, your not going to do that if your simply reading for enjoyment. I suppose if you have a lot on your mind you might struggle.

It depends on what I am reading. If it is something that i am interested in, I would give myself a 5. If it is something that i am expected, but not interested, to read then i would give myself a 1.

5, I get drawn into books, I love them. I am more focused if I'm in a relaxing place, hammock, bed, couch, if there's good music playing, and there's nothing stressfull going on in my life at the moment...
