I suggest you speak to a councilor at the school you wish to attend. There are grants and other assistance programs that you may be able to take advantage of. You may be able to obtain a job at the school that would allow you to work and take classes.
Lastly, you can take a second job for 6 months to a year and pay down your debt. I encourage you to move forward. It will never be easier and the longer you delay the harder it becomes. Take a look at the link below regarding credit counseling.
I returned to graduate school 14 years after my undergraduate degree. It was difficult but I did make it. You can as well.

Start by enrolling in your local community college. Community colleges are usually much cheaper than Universities and private colleges. If you're income is low you should be eligible for pell grants and tap to pay for your education, these do not have to paid back. You can also take out student loans which will be in deferment until graduation. You can use your loan refunds to pay off some of your debt.

However keep in mind that the loans will have to be paid back six months after graduation so be careful save your money and get good grades.

By graduation you'll be marketable at a much better salary and should be in good shape credit wise and debt wise.

After two years on that great job you're going to get purchase a home and the rest is history.

If a traditional college is out of the question try Strayer University.

The key is slowly but surely and methodically, because if you try to do too much and the task will seen insurmountable.

1. Have a payment plan:

Debt doesn't accumulate overnight, so make a easy to fulfilled plan like saving $1 a day toward paying debt, that way you'll feel good about yourself each day and debt will actually slowly go down. In the mean time, also slowly cut the expenditure. Slowly, so that it's manageable and won't have a harsh whiplash effect that will make you feel worst than you already do.

2. Then also apply for financial aid and take one class at a time. All you need is a set number of credit to graduate depending on school. So, slowly but surely if you take one class at a time you won't stress and will get it done.

As you get the hang of it, the whole process will seem easier and will go faster than you imagine.

As long you have never defaulted a student loan, you qualify for grants and loans to go to school. It can never hurt to fill out a FAFSA online. The US Dept of Ed has an official website that will tell you what to do from there. You may have to seek credit counseling or bankrupcy for your other debt if it really is that high.

Check out some Debt Consolidation companies. Make sure you check them out at www.bbb.com (Better Business Bureau) to make sure that they have no complaints against the company. You might have to work a 2nd job until you can get some bills caught up. On my days off from my full-time job I clean houses.
