For some reason I don't equate the Jets with the Yankees. Just because they are from New York does not mean they are the archrival. The team that I enjoy seeing lose the way I would enjoy seeing the Yankees lose is the Colts. When the Jaguars ran all over them a few weeks ago and exposed their lack of defense to the run, I was thrilled. I was almost as happy that the Broncos lost on Sunday and won't be in the playoffs. The Patriots should beat the Jets. There should not be a contest, in theory at least it should be like Sunday's game with the Titans. The following week in Baltimore (I am guessing that Johnson will exploit the Colts run defense and that the Chiefs will be in SD) will be the real test for the Patriots. If they are for real this year, they must beat either or both of the Ravens and the Chargers.
Just an aside, the Bills, Dolphins and Jets fans hate us for automatically winning the AFC East every year. Similar to a certain hated team from the Bronx whose name we won't mention. The Patriots just have a nicer owner, that's all.
