I would think, Northern Europe: Scandanavia, Iceland, etc....though it is more an ethnic race. Nords have overlapped into other countries of course by war, conquest, immagration, , etc.... Nordic people are generally, tall, blond haired, blue eyed. So as in the case of lap landers or others who are dark haired/eyed who are also from these countries I don't know if they are considered Nordic as well. I don't really know if that word is in use anymore seems like more of a word to use in Fantasy novels nowadays.
