When immersed in hot water, like in a bath tub, do we sweat, since we are hot; but on the other hand there's already water around us... so do we sweat?

yeah we do, we swear when were hot, we just dont realise were sweating when in the bath because as you said we are immersed in water. Thats why i drink a lot of water when i get out of the bath because i usually get dehydrated.

You don't sweat when you're covered in warm water! The water will go the other way, since the concentration of water outside of the body is higher than inside.

Consider your skin as a membrane, which becomes permable to water when you feel warm.

Evidence:

Your skin swell up from the water intake.......you know that from sitting too long i the tub!

After a vigorous workout it takes about 20 Min's to stop sweating. If you shower before that time is up you are going to sweat after the shower. Allow your self some cool down time after your workouts and before you take a shower and I think you will see a difference.
