Anyways, like I said, I just had my belly button pierced the day after xmas. I'm pretty sure this is ok, but it's a little red around my piercing. I asked my friend, who also has hers pierced by the same person over the summer. Anyways she said that it was fine, and she had redness for about a month, and hers is looking fantastic. I'm just worry so much because I haven't always had good luck with piercings....I just hope that it's ok!!!!

Oh I also use H2ocean to clean it...(which I have never used before on both of my tragus piercings...which I don't have any mroe)

II understand where you're coming from. I don't have good luck with piercings either. My navel piercing has been my only piercing that hasn't rejected.
Anyways, it is normal to be a little red around the piercing area. Just as long as you clean it every day and don't mess with it, it should heal fine. I have never heard of H2ocean but I'm sure you'll be fine. Don't worry unless you start getting a green discharge and/or the redness gets worse.

i used dial soap and sea salt to clean it. mine took forever to heal, but i spent a couple days in beach water and boom it was healed almost immediatly after. if you are somewhere hot then spend some time in the ocean,if you aren't then the ocean water will do the trick. good luck!

Yeah, it is fine. Mine was red for a couple of weeks. As long as it doesn't itch or hurt or get worse you should be okay.

Mine took a really long time to heal and got infected. I used sea salt and it cleared mine up.
