At a year, it's generally time to consult the professionals.
It's completely possible that there's something else going on here that you're not going to fix with a self-help book. (My first concern all other things being equal is getting your partner checked out...if he's not doing his half, nothing you do has a chance.)

I had difficulty getting pregnant, but not because of any biological disorder. It eventually happened, and I think because I was worried about it every day, this somehow kept it away from me. My best advice is to get checked by the doctor and if he says everything is fine, just go on with your own life until it happens, spend your days fixing the nursery and thinking about the future, don't worry about the 'right now.' It will happen for you! You just have to have a little patience!

I tried for 3 years before I had my son, I thought I was infertile but all the doctors said we were ok. I was really anxious and as soon as I started doing other things and got my mind off having a baby and then I got pregnant

Get your husband and go into the doctor for a few tests. No husband, but you can afford kids alone, go to the doctor. No husband and no job, it's Gods way of saying to save some money to support the kids.
Kidding, but truly ask a doctor.

Make sure he cums in you a lot, and never let it seep out. And try not to get stressed very much. That should do the trick.
