Yeah!!!! It's amazing!
In fact, a day isn't complete without me listening to Defying Gravity (best song from a musical...EVER!) on my MP3 player!!!
And I'm from Manila, where the musical hasn't played yet!

I've heard of the show and I have read the book. Very well written and a lot of fun I'd rate the book PG-13. Gives one a different perspective on The Wizard of Oz.

well, it has been on broadway for almost 4 years now, and those who are in the theatre world have known about is since then, especially after it won so many tony awards. All my friends and I have gone to New York to see it, but I would say if you care and are interested in broadway, and you know where to theatre news, the buzz about Wicked has been circling for some time now

Any self-respecting musical, theater, vocal, or choral performer, or friend of anyone fitting that description, will have heard of Wicked. It's been (arguably) the most popular musical for the past couple years and will remain popular for awhile longer.

You shouldn't worry. Wicked is one of the biggest Broadways right now. I love it, but I haven't got to go see it yet. I really want to though! The book is really good too. Completly different from the musical, but good nonetheless.

I love it. The theatrical aspects are all amazing, but the socio-political themes and questions provide the depth needed for a great show. It's phenomenal, I love it, and I can't wait to see it again.
