"Bad guy of 2006: President Bush . Good guy of 2006: President Bush. When people were asked in an AP-AOL News poll to name the villains and heroes of the year, Bush topped both lists, in a sign of these polarized times."

Why do you disregard the other part of the story, of him being voted the Good Guy of 2006. I'm not the greatest Bush supporter, but regardless, you are biased and too be disregarded, selectively incorporating segments of a story that only support your claims. Gee willickers Daisy, well that doesn't sound very impartial now does it?

Probably not until they think we can handle it, of course it would mess us up at first-but once it was established that they were peaceful and trustworthy things would settle down again. Everyone everywhere would be forced to rethink everything (just from the knowledge of the aliens existence) not even war would make as large an impact on humanity as that event..and perhaps nothing else in this world would positively, permanently change a persons thought process more. Yes people will be afraid-we just need to keep them from doing something drastically bad out of fear.

What's with all of the President Bush bashing? No, he isn't my favorite, but I'm tired of this.

I don't give any credit to any of the polls conducted. They are all biased on one way or another.

It's a popcorn media poll and as with all popular polls, means nothing. It's no different than voting what kind of crackers you like to eat. Meaningless. No different than Google-bombing.
