Was it a fair trial? Did we abide by our own standards? Just curious to the general feelings of others about this event.

I glad about it. But keep in mind that Saddam was not tried by the US Government. He was tried by the New Iraqi Government. An American judge wouldn't have put up with all that stuff that Saddam pulled in his trial. Best of luck to you.

Nothing. what is done is done.
No one in the United States knows whether it was a fair trial or not since the ony lauguage spoken was Arabic. It wasn't at all nmecesssary to "abide by our own standards"
Iraqis are Iraqis - not U.S. citizens

The trial was in Iraq by the Iraqis. Not our call. Maybe now, a more peaceful era will envelope Iraq.

It was a fair trial.
The standards adhered to were the standards of the Iraqi people. They were the adjutants, not the Americans.

I think his death was necessary to give peace of mind to the Iraqi people.

Ahhh actually his trial was by his own people not the USA....
So how can we know the fairness of it since they have their own rules in Iraq!

Should have been Osama Bin Laden, it's cost another 3000 American lives + to hang someone that didn't have anything to do with 9/11 and also destabilize the middle-east even more. It's a shambles... really!!!
