wow. 3 years of this, huh?
that's going to depend on how much "living here" he's doing...if he's crashing out with you for one weekend of vacation time, yeah, the guy's a guest. if he's LIVING there for anything approaching a month, no, he's freeloading.
have a talk with him before the next time your parents go out of state, and try like hell to keep it light and explaining, not vindictive and hostile (it'll be hard, since it's a habit he's been comfortable with for 3 years now). explain that an occasional weekend is of course no big deal, but if he wants to move in full time for a month or more, he's going to have to split those bills with ya.
good luck!!

This guy is taking advantage of you. If he spends more than an occasional weekend at your home he is not a guest, he is a boarder and is obligated to participate in the operation of the household financially and otherwise. Sexual activities are as much for his pleasure as yours and are in no way compensation for room and board. What are you thinking ... what are your parents thinking to allow this to go on? I think you know this is just wrong. If you think about it you can probably do a lot better than this guy.
Good Luck

What 3 years ! Your BF is definitely abusing you and your parent's hospitality. He should be ashame of himself. Ask him to marry you and see what he says. If he does not want to get out of your relationship immediately. He just wants a free meal and lodging.

No, he is not and he should be helping. Food, electricity, water all of these things cost money and he shouldn't be taking advantage of you and your parents. Tell him he has to start helping. Good luck.

Tell him to get his own place. The two of you shouldn't be shacking up under your parent's roof anyway.
