You want to compete with people that can afford to work for a fraction of what you would want to paid, then use a bidding site. I wouldn't waste my time personally. You're better off creating a portfolio site, and responding to ads on craigslist. Also frequent forums where flash folks hang out or webdev sites, and watch for ads there. It's also a good idea to team up with some other folks who have skills you might not, database, php, asp etc. Together you are all more marketable rather than seperately.
