I'm worried I will get food poisoning or something. I don't want to have to run to the bathroom that would be embarrasing. I would take them to my house but no one wants to come to my house because my mom is crazy. They never want to serve food at their house either. What can I do?

It does not sound rational. If people frequently got food poisoning at restaurants then people would never pay money to eat there. So, it is like you are so worried about being struck by lightning that you refuse to leave the house even when there isn't a cloud in the sky.

You could try getting take-out from a restaurant a few times and make sure their food agrees with you. Then, when your friends want to go out suggest that restaurant because you will know their food is good and doesn't cause you to run to the bathroom.

This fear is probably more common than you think it is. What you have to realize is that restaurants have strict codes and health inspections all the time.

Unless you are eating at really bad dives, you can rest assured that you will not get food poisoning. The last thing that restaurants want to do is get people sick. Who would pay to eat there? Most restaurants take every precaution so that this does not happen. If there was a breakout of restaurant food poisoning, it would of been on the news. How often do you hear about that, considering that thousands in your area go out to eat every day?

Try not to worry so much.

Why do you think you will get sick? Are you going to nasty restaurants that have dead flies on the tables and rats fighting you for your food? If not, then you're pretty safe.

If it makes you feel any better, food poisoning takes about 5-6 hours to hit you. It's not likely you will eat something and then hurl right there at the table, least not from food poisoning. Every kitchen I've ever worked in was cleaner than half the home ones I've been to.

Just don't order fish on Monday.

You need to get over what you have. Most of the time mangers watch the cooks and the cooks have to wear gloves and hats. I don't really think your going to get sick from the cooks. Now if you get sick it could be from them not cooking your food threw or it not being fresh . But like I said before the mangers check all that to make sure or not. So what you need to do is chill or not eat.

I would not worry about food poisioning. You are just as likely lately to have F.P. from a bag of salad mix from the store. I never had people over when I was a teen becasue of my parents.

Just wait till you are older, and have all the company you want. You'll be glad to go out after cleaning up after your dinner parties time after time after time... :) hehe

Do you like noodles? Lo mein is a fave of my family participants. Fried rice is relatively good too. the two a style of in many circumstances are made with chicken or pork, yet i'm especially useful you may get the two a style of with out meat. in case you bypass with chicken, my strategies are candy & bitter chicken or almond chicken. generic Tso's chicken is sweet too, yet technically it is an American/chinese language dish, no longer classic chinese language. yet i think it is well-known in China now. Spring rolls, or egg noodles, are some thing the two you like or you hate and it relies upon on the eating place. they generally are packed with cabbage, onions, shredded carrots and a selection of meat. each and every so often they have scramble eggs jumbled in with the vegetables. My well-liked is whilst they placed bean threads and mushrooms in them, yet in basic terms one eating place i've got ever been to does that.

you may need to seek counseling for this fear you have while you are still young and before it gets any worse as you grow older.

sure, i agree... i fear a lot of restaurants as well, considering how dirty everything is as well as some of the employees -- but not all restaurants are bad.

try to get your own place if you are old enough to move out or try to understand why your mom acts so crazy

It's unusual, but not unheard-of. You're stuck if you can't take them to your house. Hook up with them after they are done eating.
