yeah, Hill had a bad day, but they still won!!! I'm thinkin Wisconsin should be playin' in a BCS game and not LSU. They have a better record in a better conference(this year).

I’ve always thought the best indicator of how good a conference is, is that conference's record in bowl games. I don’t feel that enough is made of the Bowl Challenge or whatever they call it.

I’m a die-hard Badger fan, but I can admit that our conference isn’t as strong as we had hoped it was based on our 2-4 record (to date). Michigan was a big let down and Lloyd Carr deserves a talking to after not having his team prepared. How can you not get up for the Rose Bowl? Minnesota really embarrassed us, too. No help either from Iowa & Purdue. As for the SEC matching up to the Big 10, you have to put some stock in 2-0. The SEC with a current bowl record of 4-3 might be deeper, but I don’t think the top teams are better. I also don’t understand how people can talk smack after their teams lose. …makes no sense to me. As a Badger fan losing often to Michigan & OSU, I know when to bite my lip and if I was following the SEC, I’d realize now is the time. By the way, the conference that no one is giving love to is the Big East. They’re sitting at 3-0 right now. …so to answer your question, I’ve gotta go with the Big East.

As for Wisconsin getting a BCS bowl bid, I was frustrated with voters and the media as well, until I learned that there is a rule that only 2 teams from a conference can get BCS bowl bids. As a Badger fan, there’s not argument as to who should have gotten those two bids. After learning this, I placed all my blame on the system.

PS: This Badger fan would also like to see the Bucks win to salvage some respect for our conference.

UPDATE: With Louisville's win over Wake, the Big East is now 4-0.

People try to get on the ACC but the ACC has done well against other conferences especially the BIG LEAST. Also, the Pac 10 outside of USC is mid-major so I would have to put it as a tie between the Big East and Pac 10.

Hands down the SEC is the toughest conference in the country. Both hostorically and in the present, the SEC has consitently more nationally ranked and national championship teams than any other conference

I totaly agree. I'm a Michigan fan and I must say that Wisconsin has had a great year and should have been in a bcs game.

LSU is the only team that I think is a top team in the country from the SEC

as far as good games go.. i like watching the SEC, but the Big 10 is definitely a contender for the strongest conference, it wins my vote.
