don't drink tap water...may make you sick...ask for water without mineral unless you like the bubbles.
ice=eis is ice cream not ice cubes
make sure you have enough euros on you....euro eat the dollar like crazy
try as many german, greek, italian restaurants...they have great food in europe
you must try eiswein....a good quality white wine or radler a "women's beer"
make sure you have plenty of batteries and memory cards for your camera....just so beautiful you'd want a picture of everything
germans are more friendlier when you try to speak there language if you don't know german already(but not sure what part of europe you are going to). morgan=morning, gross got=good day, tschus(sounds like chews)=bye

try to buy bottled water when your over there that's from your country when your their if you can find it because the water from someplace different messes up your body, well there's an extremely high chance that you'll get sick! Also carry spare money in your pocket, a book bag with maps and other things like pain relievers, and don't forget a CAMERA!

Two pairs of clothes, a backpack, your passport, a way to get your money (don't carry it all on you), very minimal personal items, a camera, maps, Europass (for traveling), and an open mind.
