Been playing guitar for about 3 years but still cant seem to master the 'thumb over the top' hand position

for chords. Do some people simply not manage it ? Is my playing going to suffer if i dont sort it ?

Don't worry, if you can't, it won't affect your career, some people don't have a thumb long enough to reach over the top, thousands of guitar players don't even bother with that,! I can't do it either and I have been playin' over 30 yrs, You can develop your own tricks, I like to show off a lot on mine!

same here, i used to play the guitar and i couldnt 'master' it either. U just have to keep tryin' dont give up or get mad!!
