My lil sis eye waz -k- yesterday.but wen she went 2 sleep and woke up da next mornin she got pink eye.how didi she get it so fast?also if u can help me more how do u get rid of it?tanx.

A pink eye or red eye can be bacterial, viral or it can be caused by allergy. The viral conjunctivitis can last up to three weeks and can be treated with OTC eye drops for , redness, pain and itchiness relief. The bacterial conjunctivitis has to be treated with prescription eye drops. Allergy conjunctivitis seems very much like viral conjunctivitis. For this the doctor will preferably prescribe protanol.
It's best to consult your doctor to find out which one it is. A bacterial conjunctivitis can lead to blindness. Some OTC eye drops are damaging and can cause glaucoma.
Applying an ice pack to the eyes also brings relief..... but please see the doctor.

She needs to go to the dr. Wash your hands. Make sure she washes hers and doesn't rub her eyes or she will spread it to her other eye. It is very contagious. You get it the same vay you would get a cold. You touch something infected and then touch your face.

it can be caused be pollution, allergies,smoke.she could be sensitive to any of these things.i had it not long ago and had to end up going to the doctor. he gave me eyedrops for it.

if u touch dirty things or not washing your hands it's basically y bacteria in your eye
