norton 2005 & 2006 was bugged
2007 is better - easy to install and theu have ironed out the bugs
Mcafee has still got some bugs
Out of the two go for norton 2007
Or Zonelabs Pro - excellant with full control and has got a excellant spyware sweeper

I had Mcafee and switched to Norton Antivirus and found out that there were 12 virus's mcafee did not detect.
So you might want to use norton antivirus.

I have norton and it does very well with virus AND spyware. I haven't thought of changing. I've heard that it takes up resources. But, Norton for me is fine and would definitely recommend
FYI- my school has the other one and no trouble with it either.

I think they are pretty much equal in efficiency, although Norton seems to be the predominant program in use -- and -- no program will keep you safe if you take chances and open mail and links from an untrusted site.
