Unfortunately there isn't a Gay Welcome Wagon and a most of the online venues can be primarily about hook ups, but you might try Gay.com to chat with other gay guys about what it's REALLY like like out there before you just jump in!

Don't get me wrong, BEING gay is great, but the gay community-thing can a little on the harsh-side. If you're considered good looking or young - you could get kinda chewed up & spat out if you're not careful . . .

By all means, be true to yourself, but remember just because you like like guys in that very special way DOES NOT mean that you have to get sucked into doing ANYTHING you don't feel is right for you.

Now it is time to open up and start living life and enjoying it.

As for finding men, there are many ways to achieve that and some more successful than others. Also you need ot decide if you are initially seekign mnen for sexual experience or looking for more of a datign with possibility of a relationship. some venues are better at one than the other.

Either way, online can be weird. All too often we fidn that people online are more into internet sex than anythgin real. Very few of us on here would even consider meeting someone in real life for a date let alone for a relationship. Yet for every generality there are exceptions and there are places where you can find guys who are of a more serious leaning.

Similarly, if you look around you city (or the closest one to you), you will find gay clubs or bars, gay groups and even possibly dating services that accept gay dating.

One thing to keep in mind is that if you meet someone online they may be a long ways away while the person you meet at a gay group meeting is withing easy reach - but don;t touch until the time is right eh - hehe).

In any event try to find local venues for meeting other gusy and also explore sites like gay.com or the liek to see what pops up. And enjoy your new found freedom from the closet. One day they will finally pass a law banning closets thus setting gay people everywhere free. And then we can all throw our clothes on the floor without mothers telling us to put them in the closet - hehe.

If you're going to come out let me share something my Dad said to me long ago.

Don't be loose, no one wants to settle down with a slut, look at the mess your older brothers have made out of their lives. Be the best person you can be, stay true to yourself and remember that no one can own you unless you allow it. Don't try to fit in with the crowd, you were born to stand out. Don't settle on a BF just to have a BF. One day someone will recognize the wonderful you inside and when that happens you will know it, then all the things you are looking for will happen for you.

Try www.gay.com. You can create a profile and chat with other gay people from all over the world. Of course depending on what you are looking for, you might try getting out and meeting other gay people and dating, etc.
