I know it is not really his season, being an ex-baseball player and all, but c'mon, he is quite possibly the most annoying jacka*s there has eve been for announcers. Does anyone else agree with me? I want to start a I hate Tim McCarver website, but it would be the 3rd or 4th of its kind. Whose with me!!?

Tim McCarver was a good player and even write an entertaining autobiography. As an announcer, he leaves a lot to be desired and the games would be a lot more enjoyable if he kept his mouth shut!!!

The twosome of McCarver and Joe Buck is akin to torture They both compliment each other as being the worst announcers in baseball. Throw in Joe Morgan the anti-Yankee and you get the worst in network TV. Worst honorable mention - Michael Kay.

I Love Tim Mcarver. He has a unique way of breaking down the game, pitch by pitch!

I liked McCarver when he was first announcing. I thought he was more informative than any other baseball sportscaster.
But he's just tiresome, now. I think he's already said everything he can think of saying.

Hate is a strong word. I do not hate him, but I agree with you that he is the most annoying announcer on the baseball scene today. He knows all!! He even knows more than the players and managers themselves. I wonder why he doesn't manage a team himself.

I DO!!! I wish I could meet him and Joe Morgan. I would ask them what game they have been watching and if they ever "really" played baseball. Because after hearing them announce a game I just don't know.

No one belabors a point more then him. No one goes on and on and on about the least significant aspect of a game until it's completely blown out of proportion. I remember playoff game years ago and he starts talking about Hrbek. He starts by saying that Hrbek is a good first baseman.... by the time he's done, Hrbek is the greatest first baseman to ever play the game. When maCarver's on, I turn off the sound on the TV and listen to the radio! haven't heard him in years!!!!
