Oh, you don't know. Everything bad that happens while Democrats are in power is perfectly reasonable and explainable. Democrats never make mistakes or do anything that's immoral or unethical. Republicans are solely responsible for every negative thing that's ever happened in the nation's history, and Democrats are solely responsible for anything positive. When Republicans send soldiers into battle and some of them are killed, then it's because the Republicans are evil, horrible, and comparable to Hitler. If Democrats do the same thing, then it was for a noble and just cause.

Amazing how that works, huh?

Damn, I hate liberals.

I fight for America , My butt. When a dog is chasing a rabbit, he is only running for his food. The rabbit is running for his life.SO, whom is going to run faster, or with more determination? I fight for America, You don't know anything about fighting. You are ready to give up those hard fought for rights that many brave men and woman died for just to feel safe in your little moron world you live in. You know nothing of the Nam era. Try reading , and you will learn that Ike was the first to send troops to Nam to kill poor helpless rabbits that wanted nothing more then a whole country which was divided by the French with American backing. Most fools aren't known until they speak foolishly. On November 2,1963 the then leader of South Vietnam was killed, then on November 23, 1963 president Kennedy was blown away because he was thinking of ending what Ike started. It is mostly the cowards like Lil teenie weenie G. W. Bush and morons like you that huff the loudest. If you really want to back the troops . Try standing up for the rights and freedoms that they die for. It was not the Dem's, or Reps that caused that fiasco. It was us . We voted these people in then believed everything without questioning, because we feared being called non patriots. Keep following your leaders blindly, then when you get to where they have led you maybe you can blame it on God.
Thank you and try to have a HAPPY NEW YEAR !!

Because Presidents Nixon and Ford were the ones who allowed us to lose in Vietnam. It was a Democrat, Lyndon Johnson, who expanded the Vietnam war and the protests of the American people rightfully convinced 2 Republican presidents with a German Secretary of state (Kissinger) to give it up.
Blaming Bush? Now why would anyone do that? 3,000 Americans dead plus unknown hundreds of thousands of Iraqi on a war based on a lie? Or perhaps for confusing a political slogan ("stay the Course") with an actual foreign policy? Or perhaps for not recognizing victory in Iraq and withdrawing? We did depose Saddam and destroy his weapons--why are we still there? Does anyone actually believe we will ever be able to end sectarian violence between the Kurds, Sunnis and Shiites? Or perhaps we blame Bush because he is "the Decider." He decided to wait to send aid to Katrina; decided to wait to help the tsumani victims, decided to do nothing in Darfur, decided to ignore Iran and North Korea, decided to make us the most hated country in the world, decided to increase our danger from terrorists? Maybe others can think of better reasons.

First off, our "failure" in Viet-Nam was directly due to the war protesters and the media. We had Hanoi on the ropes (as admitted by North Viet-Nam) when the civilian population in America demanded we stop bombing, and the media played it up to the hilt. Without the support of the "home team", our exercise in South-East Asia was doomed. I see the same sorry sh*t happening now, and it makes me sad that our nation, indivisible, is so divided. So, we didn't get bombed at Pearl Harbor again, this time it was the World Trade Center, Here, in one of our oldest and largest cities. Where is the American fighting spirit? Is it gone for good? If so, the future looks bleak, at best. Bush didn't start this mess, but took responsibility for trying to stop it. Who are you to try and fix blame on the poor libs, when the conservatives are the ones getting rich out of this deal?

Overly enthusiastic in stopping Communism Advisors were sent to assist an unpopular regime. Big Mistake which got bigger when the war effort was increased, in an effort to win. Cold war was a frightening time, and anything to stop the spread the expansion of communism was endorsed by the American people. just bring it all up and Americans get defensive, if not angry, at being led so cleverly. Americans deserve better than what their leaders gave them.[then and now.]

First, read Robert McNamara's book and you'll learn (I know it's hard for CONs to learn from books, but give it a try) that he does take responsibility. Second, why do CONs have to invoke past mistakes of DEMs to justify the idiot in the WH (see Kennedy, Clinton, Vietnam)?

Remember that the only Senator who voted against the resolution was Wayne Morse. That would mean bi-partisan support;99 to 1. What are you trying to say? Are you saying you do not know the history of the USA.

Liberalism is a mental disorder.....what DO the lib/dems ever take responsibility for? They justify all their wrongs, and pass blame at every given opportunity. Woe to this country!

I flew helicopters in viet nam. It replaced right into a meaningless conflict, and one that revealed the fraility of the human condition, the hipocracy of politics, and the very worst of what lies interior us. As you little ones salute and applaud your pals and different protection tension human beings you spot on the line (and rightly so), pause for a 2d and think of roughly what I and your Dad's skilled. We fought for our very survival interior the worst of situations, watching our friends get brutally murdered or dismembered, or lost their minds. as quickly as we decrease back to the U. LBJ should've been tried as a war criminal for what happened in Vietnam. That doesn't justify anything Bush has done. Nor does anything Bush has done justify LBJ. All it means is that there is plenty of scum in both parties.
