Going along with the absurdity of this question, why don't you wear a frilly thong. I dare you! Now you can tell your doc you did it on a dare. It'll give them a private laugh; the dare part. They've probably already seen it for real.
If you don't like that answer and you aren't trolling, then do you think your doc really gives a care what you wear?
If you're going to a dermatologist for a head to toe mole exam, then wear briefs. They won't need to see what's inside your underwear unless you have a mole of concern that is covered up. If you do, just let them know about it.

well, truth be told, if your doctor is going to be really thorough and examine you from head to toe and all pints in between (which every doctor shoudl do), why bother wearing any. After all the doctor is just going to ask you to take them off.
Oh, and if they give you one of those silly shirts, to wear, you are far better off to just say no; fact is the silly things don't hide much and all the manouvering they go through to try to maintain your modesty while you have it on is actually frustrating and often more freaky than if you just get naked and let the doctor do the exam. Besides if the doctor is doign his job well, you are goign to wind up with him viewing and touching your genitals anyway. And any doctor who avoids that part isn't really doing a very good job.

It does not matter what kind of underwear you wear to a physical exam. The doctors dont care what you wear. They are not examing your tighty whites or boxers. They are checking your health.

You have wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy too much time on your hands to worry about what type of underwear. Wear whatever cause no one really cares and if you doctor makes note of your underwear it's time to change doctors.

you should wear white 100% cotton underwears . Prefer 100% cotton in order your skin can breath and WHITE in order your skin not absord colours when you sweat! That is very important because colours can cause cancer. Generaly White underwears are more healthy. Also prefer comfortable underwears and clean of course .

For the most part, you can wear anything that comes off, or comes down, easily. You can do yourself a favor by wearing drawstring or elastic waist pants, and slip-on shoes. Also, carry a bag that you can put your keys and wallet in, so your pockets are empty and you don't lose anything.

As long as they are clean then who cares. You are going to take them off anyway.
By the way, the doctor doesn't care what you look like in the package department. He's seen 'em all, He's just a mechanic checking your oil.
