settom is a month. you say you purchased a painting on the 24.

settom means the 24th september from the early stages "set."

the early word "set" is like the word "sept". as from now you know they are the same. if you it and listen carefully to what you are saying it will sound the same.

I have no idea what it means. I don't think it's Dutch. I googled it and the first thing that came up was your question. I would guess it is more likely a Russian language.

Probably an abbreviation of the French "septombre." Just a guess.
