Its probably because youre 14 and way too young for a 16 yr old. maybe when youre 28 and hes 30 will he go for it.

Try something like making eye contact with him and making small talk, it helps if you are cute about it... Say you notice his shoes are untied, say something like ur shoes are untied i'd tie them for u but its gonna cost ya, then ask him if you could call him sometime... He will either say yes or no. I guess it depends on what he is in to and how he perceives you. You may be too young for him since he is 16, they think they are too grown at that age.

Come ON- go get a hobby or something- your too young- boys are not worth chasing till they are in their mid-twenties anyway and you have at least 10 years to grow up and have some fun beofre that.

I would go up to him and say "Hey, would you like to hang out sometime?" leave it at that for a while and when you are done hopefully you will feel more comfortable to ask him to hang out again, if so the friendship or relationship will grow from there.

Just ask him out. If he goes to your school, then get a friend to give a note to him. If not, then just flirt with him and see what happens. If he says no, do NOT show that it affects you. Move on 'cause you don't need to let a guy see that it affected you.

Maybe he does and is afraid to ask someone two years younger. Just go up to him and ask him if he'd like to hang out with you some night. Don't suggest it as a date, suggest it as a friendly thing.

teenage boys do not usually want younger girls... they THINK they want older. but you need to know that you are a wonderful girl....so think great things about yourself while walking up to him...ask him out! If he says no, that's cool. No biggie. He was just a practice run for a real man later on.
