Yes they do. What they need to realize is that Henry is vastly over rated and can't do it when it counts, he can't do it against the Premier big guns, In Europe or for France, he is strictly second rate and they have to be looking for a striker with real quality

i don't believe arsenal NEED a striker, but of course an extra addition to the squad might be nice. I feel arsenal are inconsisitent and need more of a guy like viera. Gilberto is great, but the back line is very inexperienced. Once they get back gallas and others from injury they will start rolling again. Adebayor is on a hot streak, hopefully he can continue the form from injury. Hleb will be back, eboue, walcoot, djouro,ljunberg,and others and that could be essential

Even though it seems sometimes that Arsenal do need a striker but belive me they have got loads of talent upfront like walcott, henry, van persie ,adebayor...what arsenal needs is more a tough inspirational and hard- to - getby midfielder...they had viera...but iam sure they is more around.....anywaz just reflecting on the arsenal Shfld Untied ...game baptista should have knocked two in the net............

Arsenal don't need a striker. they've proven this season that even without Henry, when they are hot - they are are on fire. e.g. Man United away
Their main problem is inconsistency. Like someone said earlier, they also need an enforcer in midfield who is prepared to get physical and dirty when they play teams like Blackburn and Bolton away...

Yes , Arsenal have not replaced Bergkamp , an experienced , intelligent attacking player to compliment Henry , Van Persie, etc..

They need to buy a very experienced striker. Arsenals squad is made up of talented but young footballers. Only vengar can decide who to buy!

I don't think they are short of strikers but what is lacking in the team is just the kind of player who can lead the team as Vieira did. When you look at their performance you don't see anything missing tactically but maybe psycoalogically.
I think when Henry gets back things will change.
And one thing I don't like about the team is Van Persie's selfishness he only think of scoring and not the team winning and that one reason I now like about Adebayor.

They need a proven penalty box striker,the best in Europe for the last two seasons is Rangers Kris Boyd,his record is incredible,but because he plays in Scotland he is not rated,but anyone that knows football would know that he would finish off most of the chances that they are missing.

No they don't they have Henry the worlds best , adebayor , van persie , aliadiere who is no good but they also have walcott and baptista who can play up front they also have a. stokes , n bendtner and lupoli out on loan and they are all playing well .
They possibly do with another midfield player they are linked with puerta and navas from sevilla and they also admire ribery.
