Good point Jamie D ... OVER 50,000 innocent Iraqis have also died amidst this war ... we can't forget them either...

SpinKick that's very sad that u would actually say that 3000 is nothing. Tell the mothers, fathers, brother, sisters and children that these 3000 soldiers left behind that. U should be ashamed of yourself. One life is too much...

Yes, I heard it on CNN this very morning. I am so sorry. My country, Denmark, is also engaged in Iraq with 1500 soldiers. Not very many. But we have been hit with many deaths, too. Thanks to all our brave young men who have gone to fight in an unjust war, made by irresponsible politicians and men without any moral

Its very sad. There are a lot of Americans losing their lives for someone elses politics. I think we should also take the time to consider that over 50,000 Iraqi citizens (innocent) have also died because of the war. This is a shame.

My nephew is in Baghdad right now. I just pray all this is over soon and all this killing stops. Unfortunately I don't see an end any time soon. And I'm still scratching my head as to why our government decided to take over another country and make up false reasons for doing so.
Why aren't we in Darfur instead and stopping the genocide there?
To date over 200,000 people have been killed!

I believe the war is ridiculous. I hope everyone realizes we're there for oil. Also, I feel that anybody joining the army knows what they're getting into. And I don't have much respect for people who take orders to kill another person in this world, and they don't even know that person. The soldiers are tools.

That's alot of death's and what's sad is, Bush has the power to stop the death toll, from rising. I hope your brother doesn't get added to the death toll, my prayer's go out to all the troops.

i'm a woman n i'm shy til u get to comprehend me. i will sit down in college quiet n not consult from all and sundry n wen ppl consult from me i'm getting worried...... yet while ik u n have been buddies i'm so lots extra outgoing .... I basically get worried around extra moderen human beings n i'm getting scared..... adult men continuously calls me attractive n cute cuz i'm shy, short, have been given a advantageous physique, im sweetheart til u piss me off, stuff like that......

heard that yesterday...we have young men from our area in the guard that went over there and i have a few friends with kids there.
I hope your brother stays safe. And bless him for serving his country. I respect and commend him for that and will keep you and the rest of the family in my thoughts and prayers as well.

My husbands brother in law was over there in may of 2003. his tank turned over in the ufratees(spelling wrong) river. He was the only one not able to escape

Yes my husband is over there he has been for 13 months and he will be coming home soon thank god.

I heard about that, and I am really sorry for our soldiers who gave up their lives to spread the democracy in the middle east. They are always in my mind !!!
