my best friends name is sophie marie and its beautiful name its suits sophie down to the ground.. im trying to figure out what to call my baby as i know im having a girl but obviously with my friends baby being sophie marie i cant choose it
my choices so far have been paige,kiatlyn,ebony,charmaine,mckenzie and a few others but the name sophie marie is gorgeous

Well Sophie means "wisdom" and Marie is the Hebrew for " the virgin mother of Christ". I think they sound nice together and the seem to go together fine.
AS long as you like it and nobody is going to come back ad say hmm, thats an odd combination, then I think it's great!

I think it's a pretty name,but from what I've been seeing on here, there are going to be a lot of babies by that name. It seems to be very popular unless the same people are asking the same questions.

I like Sophia better personally. Sophia Marie flows nicely.

Honestly it's a beautiful name, but at least here in my circle of friends in Miami, every other person has named their daughter Sophia, Gabriela, or Isabella.

It's okay, but it kinda depends on what the baby looks like. I don't think it really matters to other people as long as u like it
