There are several reason your battery keeps dieing. First you may have a defective charging system (alternator) have it tested on the car, second check for a short and or see if the glove box or trunk light is staying on, that could cause the battery to continues to discharge and in turn over time need replacing. Good Luck and GOD Bless

something, some electrical drain is drawing on the battery after you turn of the engine.

Disconnect the positive cable and place a tester or a voltometer across between the cable and the positive post of the battery. If it shows a current, you know that some circuit is not breaking when you turn of the car.

It can be short, but that should show up in an odor or some smoke.

Overcharging mean: That the your dynamo charge the battery more than 12 V. This kill the battery. You must measure how much the dynamo charge battery and if it's more than 12 V then you must change it.

that means there is problem with your alternator.
for less then the cost of one hours labour a mechanic can test this all for you tell u what is up and how much it will cost to fix.
once you have this info if the man is not asking for lots of money
then let him fix it . if he says tons o money other then the cost of a new alrenaltor then shop around .

You could have a bad alternator, a bad regulator.....(in new cars, the regulator is in the alternator), or you can have a dead cell in your battery. Best of luck to you.

attempt leaving it set with one battery cable disconnected! See if it " runs down" ! you've good battery, and robust alternator and nonetheless have lifeless battery usually! --- If somethng in vehicle employing power whilst vehicle parked! in case you're taking an old headlignt and connect between battery and cable on one side, -- the bulb will illuminate exceptionally good regardless of if this is leaking adequate power to run battery down in approximately 24 hours! this is concerning the oldest piece of "attempt equipment" there is! in case you commence disconnecting, and turning off stuff till ultimately the gentle is going out, (or is in simple terms actual dim- making filiament reddish).... If laptop geared up,clock, and radio with reminiscence and this style of stuff, it incredibly is going to pull an extremely small volume of cutting-edge to maintain memorys! this could take incredibly some time to entice battery all the way down to the place it is unable to crank engine to commence it! ...connect a pair 3' wires to bulb, and you could positioned it the place this is common to work out whilst working interior vehicle! shop it whilst finished, -- it is likewise sensible for locating shorts that blow fuses, -- in simple terms connect in decision to fuse it extremely is blowing, ---- as long as gentle continues to be lit ,- it continues to be shorted! whilst gentle is going out, you have reached component to short, - then this is barely finding the place this is hiting physique, or shorting to a diverse twine, and taping up or repairing so as that short no longer exists! question, is the alternator charging at appropriate voltage, (and amps)??? in simple terms charging and "charging actual" are 2 countless issues! Overcharging over a volume of time can smash a battery too! this could point out a foul regulator in alternator! Or in all possibility a foul diode (in altrenator) could be dragging battery down, -- (yet fee in simple terms advantageous whilst engine runnng!) till now whilst alternator grew to alter into common, I had vast arguments with "electric powered shop" doing maintenance, -- they woud say an alrernator replaced into "good", even nonetheless it could have undesirable diode (one that "leaks"), - ultimately I in simple terms began doing my own, and then had no issues! Alternators have been a "radical substitute" from turbines!

The problem is the alternator, or the wires are loose.
