I bought a Linksys Wireless Router. I connected my modem to it and the wireless connection does not work. I need to set up my IP address. What does BT use? static ip, pptp, pppeo, or dhcp?

Can someone please tell me how to INSTALL my wireless using a BT VOYAGER ASDL MODEM?

Thanks.

C'mon, Linksys has some of the best technical support in the industry. Get on the phone with them, they even have a semi-automated system to secure the network. Cisco folks have their act together.

the problem is not the router, its that you dont know the settings from your service provider. Contact who ever handles your internet connection and get the info from them.
