i live in West Covina CA , near LA ... and i need a erector set for a physics project... i cant find any that are not for specific models. do i need to buy it online?

There are actually new ones out, you can find at hobby stores..here in Alberta, they are at Kites and Other Delites..also, eBay....I bought one for my hubby for his 40th birthday..but I wanted one that was made in the 60's so I had slim pickings..but they have several on there. Also, check out flea markets in your area.

you can get any drum set at local games stores near you, this may be a: Gamestop EB games Play N' Trade just ask them if they have any in stock in the shop, most will have one or two lying around, and if you buy one used, you can get a GREAT deal on one, im going out to buy one myself tomorrow, from gamestop. They are available at large toys stores. There are some big ones out where you are. They don't make them like they use too and they are not cheap. Try KD toys and Toys R Us.
