he said that Abo-treka was the winner of the African footballer of the year and he is not even on top 3..
second..Blatter said that Abo-treka was the third best player in the world club cup and not Ronaldinho and when Abo-treka went to take his award in the stadium and went down there on the field..Blatter was like "sorry mm there has been a few miscalculations and Ronaldinho is third best player"
see how much respect we Arabs get from the world?
you know why Eto'o And Drogba are top nominees because they play for Chelsea and Barca 2 great clubs and because people know them..trust me if Abo-treka was Spanish or even Egyptian who plays in Barca..he would have recieved the golden ball

it is soo unfair..whenever i remember what they do to Abo-treka who the 80 000 000 Egyptians love him and any one who sees him play love him .. I mean Deco Puyol and Ronaldinho dont deserve to be on top3 anyways..it is just because they are well-known..As for the African footballer.Eto'o was like injured the whole year and Drogba was the diver of the year..

sorry to hear about that. i've seen aboutrika play and i think he's awesome. sure would be nice to know he's being recognized for his amazing talents as a footballer esp. for fans like us, but those who've seen him play don't need the nice words nor the awards to know this guy's up there with the best.

You said it by yourself, if Abotreka was playing in some big club and not in Al - Ahly he would be nominated, you can't compare a player from Spanish or English league with a player from Egyptian league, he is maybe the best in Egypt but that's all !!!!! Eto'o and Drogba are among the best strikers in the whole world not only in Africa !!!!

You can "imagine" anything you want but that doesn't make it true. I can imagine I have fluffy pink fur and wings, but if I step out of the 3rd floor window and try to fly, I'll find out I can't in a second. God owes us nothing. It does seem unfair, it seems you only get nominated for the top awards if you are playing for the more well known European clubs.
