Here is the amazing way to take care of this issue...
Take some warm Mayonnaise, and rub it onto the table. I thought it only worked for water marks, but I tried it when I burnt my table. let it sit for about 30 sec. and them rub in a circular motion (wax on wax off!) this shoudl work with only one appliacation, and I do know it sounds gross, but the oils in mayo work wonders...Good Luck!

omg, i don't think it can be removed... the varnish must have been damaged... u could always re-varnish the table.... :'(
