If it's on fire, and there is imminent danger, just grab the family and go.

If not, I would probably try and get my wallet, some clothes, and a good pair of shoes.

My kids, and a portable file I keep with important papers (marriage, divorce, bankrupcy, birth certs, ss cards, tax records, car titles, insurance papers) Also my purse, and my cash stash I keep for paying bills. Sounds like a lot, but I can grab it all in less than a minute. If I had time, would grab some blankets and a couple of my daughter's favorite toys.
We had a tornado warning once, and it took me a couple minutes to grab all of that and head for the basement. All was well thank God.

The double usual stems from the former regulations/ mores related to marriage and relatives rights. a guy became basically to blame to look after little ones born less than wedlock. Illegitimate little ones were entirely the responsibility of the mummy. a guy's little ones were considered as his property and if someone grimy his daughter through creating her pregnant it became considered as an affront and grievance hostile to the guy. If a son were given a lady pregnant he became basically sowing wild oats in truth it became not that uncommon for a guy to purchase his son a hooker as a correct of passage into adulthood. accordingly it became made a regulation to guard the more youthful unmarried women, regardless of the indisputable fact that they could get married typically through 13. so that you would possibly want to nonetheless have sex with a gentle woman, you basically had to marry her first.

I would get out right away.
Stuff is replacable, we are not.
If someone else is in the house let the firefighters
get them out.
They are better protected and much wiser about fire.

1. My kittycats!

On the way out of the house, I'd snag: 2. My purse (it has all my ID, cards, etc.).

Time permitting, I'd dash back in for: 3. My passport (it's a huge p.i.a. to replace one).
