Unless you try to pick a name that will embarrass your child, most of the time the child will grow up happy with the name. One famous person didn't have a name until she was five years old. At five, she chose the name Peek-a-boo. I am uncertain of the spelling. She was in the Olympic games a few years back. If you are really concerned, just use good judgment. I often joked about naming a child Booz or Boaz from the Old Testament in the Bible. From a historical and technical point of view, there is nothing wrong with that name. From a practical point of view, I won't do that to any child.
It's up to you. Have fun, but be considerate.

My kids are in there 20's. Nathaniel David and Elaina Rachele. Nathaniel like to go by Nathan and wishes I had named his middle name after my brother Gary. Nathan Gary would be his choice.
My daughter like her name, but wishes I had named her Rachele for her first name instead of middle name.
My name is Karen Sue and have always liked it, but when I was little I wanted my name to be Julie.

Well my child"s name is Aliza and she is only 2 months old but i think that every one else is beggining to like it more than me because people come up to me and my boyfriend witch is mixed and they tell me that we have done a good job at nameing our child and the surprising part about it all is that he is here for me and my baby ( i might be young too have a child and i have made a mistake for doing wat i did a while back ago but i dont regret haveing my baby because she is the love of my life and i think that it is wrong to put anyone before your child i dont care how old u r young u r it dont matter thats just wrong....

My sons name is Parker and my daughters name is Leah MY son is 3 he says he likes his name but hes only three and my daughter is only 11 months old i dont think she really knows yet

My 12 year old daughter is Jade Ivy and my 4year old son is Isaiah Charles. My older children have never complained, they are ok with their names, I don't know what my little one will say when he is older.

Our son is named Cavin James. I don't know if he likes it yet, because he's only 5 monthes old:) My DH calls him Cav and I call him CJ. Our next son is going to be Jackson Robert and we will call him Jax. I can tell you my name is Elaina Gayle and I love it. Hope that helps!
