ok been feeling nausue,my breasts have been hurting a little,but here's the thing had my last period Dec.23 and went all 5 days. NO sign of just spotting. Now I am up for starting ovulation are these signs before ovulation takes place? I'm tryin to wait it out to see if I start my next period for Jan. Please if anyone can help with ideas thanks........... Also been feeling dizzy too.

If you just had your period, then you're most likely not pregnant. Buy a test if you're concerned, though.

What do u mean "went all 5 days no signs of just spotting"?
do you mean you had your period all 5 days or you just spotted all 5 days?
If you spotted, you could be prego... If you bled for 5 days, then it's not biologically possible for you to be pregnant.
Relax and just let nature take its course. Stressin' will mess w/ ur hormones and can keep u from getting pregnant.
watch out for dumb *** advice too. some people here don't know what the hell their talking about. Like ovulation starts 10 days from the first day of ur period, so u'll be oulating beween the 2nd and the 5th, and will be fertile for 24 hrs in that time

Hey Girl I had this last month where I just knew I was pregnant & thought it had to be too soon to tell ~ my breast were sore & I was feeling nausious but I did get my period right on time these signs lasted for a few days so I do not know if it was starting of ovulation or?? good luck I was hoping it was my month but I hope it is yours!!!! I do think it could still be possible to be early signs I will keep my fingers crossed for you ~

If you started your period on the 22, you shouldn't be ovulating until about the 8th. But you pretty much just finished a 5 day period over the holidays, if could have to do with what' you've been eating and drinking in combination with how heavy that period was.
Its possible you could be pregnant, but the chances are low.

It's extremely unlikely you're pregnant if you last period started on Dec 23 and lasted for 5 days. If you have a shortish cycle, you could be about to ovulate.

More than likely it is not pregnancy if you just had a normal full-blown period. If the symptoms don't go away after another week or so, I would go see the doctor just to be sure. Maybe even take a home preg-test. If you really were pregnant, and your last period was actual pregnancy bleeding, then it will show up positive. And in that case you need to call your doctor immediately, because that much bleeding is not good. Good luck, and take care of yourself!

Your symptoms are very sinilar to those I excperience with all 6 of my pregancies. The very first thing that hsappens to me is the tenderness and swelling of my breasts. I also got very forgetful and seemed to drop everything I touched. (i.e. clumsy. I'd pick up one of those in-home preg test kits. They are cery sensitive. But even if you're not. Because you are trying to conceivre. Treat your body as if you are preg. (i.e., eating right. taking prenatal vitamins, moderate excercise like walking, or whatever your OB/GYN recommends. Then, when it does happen you will be that much healthier and so will your baby.
