The Saddam Hussein death penalty was carried out in a way that showed us just how awful we can be as human beings. It was unjust. He was a dictator yes and he killed many of his own people with poison gas etc etc. But today the country is still in a shambles and 1.5 million Iraqis have been killed by the coalition forces since Iraq was invaded. Who should go to the gallows for that? And when do the war crimes trials begin?

It fuels the political need for creating a division between the democratic(?) and Muslim worlds. Lets see how many more laws can be fast tracked through government under the guise of terrorism this year!

O.K. You just butchered the English language. Even hanging is known to make the victim suffer as you are saying Saddam should have suffered before he died. I don't believe in capital punishment and believe life in prison would have suited him better. You are a very cruel person for saying that someone should suffer.

That wasn't Saddam!!! I bet it wasn't. The government is so corrupt they probably let him go free here in America and gave Iraq a phony, or Iraq's government killed a fake and let the real one go free in Iraq with a promise to never show his face again.

They hung him for poor spelling and vocabulary so BE CAREFUL! "Wat", "da", "wen", "da", "somung"?.....did you study English at the Saddam School of Skullduggery? And, you actually have a computer? Oh, your question, such as it is - he was guilty of war crimes...look that up in your Thesaurus.

Lethal injection, because it is the most humane way and we don't want to stoop to his level of torture.
