The best way is to use water or Sparkle Glass Cleaner. The secret is to get a special microfiber cloth just for windows. In one wipe it will be clean and you can use just water and not have to use any chemicals. No streaks at all. I promise. You can get them at Linnens&Things. I love them and now cleaning the windows isn't that bad of a chore.

Hire someone. No, just get out the windex and start cleaning.
There are a lot more products now than just windex but I haven't
tried any of them.

I use a little Joy dish detergent in a bucket of water. I also use a squeegee with the sponge on one side. It is important to dry off the rubber squeegee between strokes.

First of all, HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!! Ok...to your question....My mom has ALWAYS sworn by and used vinegar and water to clean mirrors, windows, and glass. I hate the smell of it, but it works really well.

Windows come out of the sill(lol). So you can take them out and watch them outside with a hose. It pretty easy but you need someone to be there.
